Joe Follette, Jr., a licensed marriage and family therapist, has been providing therapy and coaching for men and women, boys and girls, for over 25 years. He founded Agape Family & Group Therapy in Huntsville, Alabama in 1999. Ten years later the name was changed to Lifestyle Therapy & Coaching. 

Before becoming a therapist, Joe pastored several Seventh-day Adventist churches. He was a Chaplain Candidate in the US Army Reserves and Oakwood University freshmen men’s dormitory resident director. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University and a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Since being in practice, Joe has led many group treatment programs, including a state-certified substance abuse rehab program. As an Alabama Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist supervisor, Joe has trained many Marriage & Family Therapy interns. He is also a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and Trainer.

Joe is a positive, upbeat individual with a warm and friendly personality. He is non-judgmental and easy to talk to. He enjoys laughter and loves to see the light bulb turn on in his clients. He specializes in helping adults who refuse to give up on love, enjoy the marriage of their dreams.

Joe and Claudia have a blended family with five children and two grandchildren. Joe’s favorite recreational activity is golf and walking his dog Colby. Joe’s favorite scripture is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
